Tips on using Tiffany Town Car

Hello all,

I just booked a lincoln town car for my DIsneymoon the first week of October and wanted to know if there were any pitfalls, things to watch out for, things to expect, or even not to expect when dealing with them.

We will not need the grocery stop, or a booster seat, or a car seat.. its just the two of us.

We had good luck the one time we used Tiffany. But with any towncar company:

1. Call them the day before you arrive to confirm.
2. Call them the day before you leave to confirm.

It doesn't solve all problems (Cartier still was an hour late to take us to the airport despite having called the day before), but it should keep some of the possible errors down.

Tip each way. They will try and schedule the same driver, but maybe not - make sure the tip gets into their hands.

Some drivers are better about carrying bags than others. Some have INSISTED on carrying all bags, others are happy to grab the lightest carrying while you shlep two suitcases, a backpack and three children. If you need help ask. If it isn't forthcoming, reflect it in your tip.

Don't expect upgrades to limos, pop in the car, etc. I've heard it happens. I've never seen it.
 
Our family has used Tiffany on two occasions and both were positive. Our drivers were courteous, prompt and professional. Each time they were at the airport with a sign waiting for us. We had a female driver on 1 trip who was full of interesting info about the area. I hope your experience is a pleasant one! :flower:

My experiences with Tiffany have always been fine. But remember, if you want a grocery stop, REQUEST in advance, and reconfirm this before you leave. The grocery stop is free but if it isn't scheduled they apparently balk and some people report having scheduled a stop and their drivers not knowing. So make sure you are very clear on this.

(On edit) Duh, I just noticed you said you would NOT need a grocery stop. Never mind. Maybe someone else can use this tip so I'll leave it. :)
 
We used Tiffany july 04, they were great - couldn't ask for better service.
 
Nice to read these positive responses - we are using them for the first time in less than 2 weeks. Thanks for the tip to ring them the day before our outward and inward journey - hope I remember - I will going out, it's the coming home!
 
We use Tiffany all the time. Our favorite driver is Jan. HE's wonderful. I've had 2 other drivers besides him, but his car (the drivers use their own cars) was the cleanest and he treated us like royalty! I'd request him :goodvibes
