I used the search option, but it was difficult to pan thru all the posts and find what I am looking for. I really want the kids to be able to meet alot of characters and we are not going to to a character meal....any tips on where's, when's, and who's......I personally would like to meet capt. Jack pirate: ....does he frequent the parks???

Thanks!!!

I think Capt. Jack Sparrow is often over on Pirate's Cove (or whatever the island is called now). We have luck with characters on Main Street near the Opera House with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Chip 'N Dale. We've even seen Cruella there. Good luck!

Captain Jack Sparrow is most often found on Pirate's Lair (used to be Tom Sawyer's Island).

All the princesses are currently held captive at Princess Fantasy Faire. Ariel with fin can be found at her shell in King Triton's Gardens. Aladdin and Jasmine can be found at their storytime at Aladdin's Oasis (shows Fri-Sun currently). Mary and Bert can be found strolling around Main Street and in Fantasyland. Alice and the Mad Hatter can be found playing games at the park entrance sometimes.

Mickey and Minnie have been appearing in their Chinese New Year outfits at the front of Main Street near the Hatmosphere shop. Mickey can also be found in his Movie Barn which is inside his house in Toontown. Minnie sometimes appears at her house as well.

A good way to knock 3 characters out at once is to see a Drawn to the Magic show in DCA. They always have 3 characters that you can do a meet/greet with afterwards. A couple weeks ago we met Sorcerer Mickey, Woody and Snow White. Speaking of Snow White, she has been appearing in front of the Animation Studio while her special event is going on inside. You can meet her, Dopey and even the Old Hag out front at certain times.

Other than that, if their is a specific character you are seeking, check with a CM at City Hall or at the wait times board at the end of Main Street and they should be able to help you.

HTH.

Ask at City Hall if there are particular characters you want to meet. They don't open TSI/PL is it's rainy but you can still find Jack, they will tell you where!

I know that the fantasy fair princess: has start times, can anyone tell me more about it  ? Does it last all day? What's it like there? Crowded? Tips on when to go and getting autographs? ::MinnieMo

This place is the BEST~

Where is the Snow White special event, also is the Old Hag, is she dressed like the Old Hag or is it the Evil Queen, also do you know how long this will be going on?? Thanks!!!:goodvibes

We saw Snow White, Dopey, The Hag and the Queen in front of the animation building at different times. We were in search of Sully and were even given times and he never came out.:sad2: We honestly didn't see as many characters this trip (last week) as we have in the past. We saw the main ones over and over. I like it when you randomly run into one, not have to go to the Princess Faire, but that's just me.

Has anyone been lately and has seen any of the Snow White characters, I would love to meet them next week, really would love to see the Hag and the Queen, is this area easy to find??:goodvibes

When I was there in July, I saw Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and Minnie (no Donald :sad1: ) on Main Street. We took pics with Mickey in front of this shop, and Goofy was there, literally about twenty feet away, in front of this other store. (Forgot the names.)

Buzz was in Tomorrowland, naturally. (I was gonna get a pic with him, but the lady told me "Buzz has to fly back to Star Command for a little bit, he'll be back later." But I did see him, at least!) We were on the way to lunch, so we didn't stand around and wait. If I remember correctly, he was by that ball with the water running on it, that rotates.

Saw Mr. Incredible in DCA, at the opposite end of the street where ToT is. (In front of the bathrooms), near the Monsters Inc. ride.

Saw Sleeping Beauty also near the Monsters Inc. ride, by this outdoor stage.

Hmm. I think I forget some. I didn't see as many characters as I had hoped. (Not counting the parades or Fantasmic!, but walking around.) :headache:

Yes, Snow White, Dopey and the Hag hang out in front of the animation building at DCA. Once you get past the Playhouse Disney Live building, they are hard to miss if they are out there.

Good luck!

ToonTown is a good place for characters, but the lines build up instantaneously to meet them.

I almost always see Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Mickey in his house, Chip and/or Dale, and I've even seen Baloo there.

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto have been right in front of Main Street when I've gotten there at opening. I even saw Aurora in front of the Mickey flowers at front last week!

It starts at 9 or 9:30 the Disneyland site doesn't say when it is open till. We went first thing last year so I don't have a stop time for you. You randomly get prince/princesses so you don't get too chose. They hold you in line and only one set of people per character. So you have a long time in the line. I thought I was smart and got in line 15' early. The princesses were running late so we had about 40' wait. The you go in to the shopping, coloring, story area.

We saw princess minnie, prince Phillip and Snow white.

How long will you be there? The reason I ask it that if you want your kids to see lots of characters, you will be spending A LOT OF TIME in line. I have hard horror stories about the princess faire.
DD loves to meet characters. That is the only reason we do character meals. We don't waste valuable ride time chasing charcters. How old are your kids? Are there any inparticular you want to meet?

How about meeting Tinkerbell? I am going in June and have a 13 year old that loves Tinkerbell since infancy.

I have only seen Tinkerbell in the Parade of Dreams, but I don't go on weekends or other high-attendance times, so maybe she is out and about then.

I have seen Peter Pan walking around with Wendy.

That's kind of dumb, considering her fan base, really...

It's probably to preserve the illusion of her being a fairy. And because she's a face character but absolutely CANNOT talk (since she doesn't talk in the movie), it might be confusing for little kids. Besides being confusing that she's human-size and not pixie-size, kwim?

That's my guess anyway.

But I agree it's got to be disappointing for older Tink fans, of which there are tons!

That makes sense. :thumbsup2
