Tips Needed to Conquer WDW Staying off Site Marathon Week!

We are very fortunate to be going to WDW January '16, but unfortunately we are staying off site. We are going to miss " Staying in the Bubble ", but very excited to be going. We would appreciate any tips to how to conquer WDW staying off site. The logistics are becoming very overwhelming just thinking about it! Thank you in advance!

There was a thread in another forum recently about staying off-site. I usually stay on-site, but my tips would be to have a car, avoid the EMH days, make some ADRs at resort restaurants to feel like you're staying in the bubble. And be aware of the road closings on the morning of the marathon. January is a good time to go.
