Tips from a CM for an easier trip

Do you know if any of the other shows follow this policy??

When my son and I saw BATB at MGM, there was a mother and son sitting behind us saving seats for the father and other kids. Several people came into the theatre and asked to sit there but the mom kept saying we're saving these. Just before the show started I heard the son say "What's taking them so long, they have fast passes."

I can understand saving seats so one parents can take a child to the bathroom. I just don't think it's fair to save seats for someone off enjoying other rides.

Thanks for sharing these great tips. FOTL is my favorite WDW show.

I have one thing to add. Please, please if there are interpters at the show do not walk in front of them. There are other ways to leave and you are taking away the enjoyment of deaf and hard of hearing guests who depend on the interpreters for their understanding of the show.

Talkinghands....I have to share one of our favorite experiences from our trip a week ago. We, my 10 y/o dd and I, were at CP. I noticed the interpretor up front. She was so incredible to watch. I have never seen anyone bring such joy and emotion by signing as this woman did. I actually enjoyed watching her almost as much as I enjoyed the show!!!!

I believe the no saving seats rule most likely applies to any show where they expect a full house. TLK is immensely popular.

I second that thought about the interpters! They are awesome to watch. I sometimes have trouble keeping an eye on the audience when they're out because my eyes want to focus on the interpters.

Angie, just wanted to say I am so glad to see you back on the Dis. I've missed hearing from you. I am glad to see you are getting to work at such a fun attraction!

It's so great to get an "insider's" look at different attractions. I've always been amazed at the people who push their way to the front of the line, grab the best middle seats and won't push down to the end of the row, forcing everyone to climb over them. My question is: how is this handled by the CMs if they see it (from my experience sometimes they do see it, sometimes they don't). Should we climb over them or just fill in the seats behind them or go all the way around?

Thanks for giving us these tips. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that you're preaching to the choir here - most DISers are practically Disney experts. I think the CMs should consider publishing a book with all these helpful hints so that everyone can learn from your experiences.

A WDW guide book produced by CM's, with the proceeds going to charity. And they could call it "Disney's Book of Etiquet". I wonder if Mr. Eisner would read it?

Angie it ismgreat to hear from you again. I think I echo everybody when i say "We missed you". Thanks for the great info about TLK. Hope to see you next September when I'm there with DW, DD, DSIL, & DGS. We will be celebrating my grandson's 3rd birthday while we are there and being able to point at you and tell him that I know you would be a real kick.
