Tips for waking up early?

Try getting a couple of kids. That will help you get up before 9am.

Yep! Just like Christmas morning--no sleeping in then either!

I always use the wake up call! I love it because if you forget where you are you're reminded that you're in the most magical place in the word when you pick up the phone & Mickey is waking you up! I wish they could call my house in NY Everyday!!:earsboy:

I agree! But, for some reason my kids who are usually up by 7:30, are too tired to get up early at WDW...Darn it! I love to sleep in but, I just can't sleep at WDW! I'm the one trying to wake everyone. I plan on getting a wake up call from Mickey (on speakerphone) to wake those guys!::MickeyMo

Tee hee that sounds like me. I am usually the last to drag myself out of bed (7ish) as DW and kids are already up starting their routines. At WDW I'm the one waking up early and wondering when everyone else is gonna be "up and at 'em". I was thinking about getting a clipboard and a whistle to accesorize for our next vacation.

FYI - If you've never used Tylenol PM, try it before you start using it on vacation. I experience restless leg syndrome from it and have talked to others that do also. It is very hard to fall asleep w/ it, so just be sure to try it ahead of time to make sure it doesn't affect you. Wouldn't want you to go through that on vacation!

I agree 100% with iLoveEeyore2. I'm in nursing school but am also getting a degree in biology and depending upon someones chemical makeup, you can react differently to "night" medications like Tylenol PM or Nyquil (Spelling? lol). In a small percentage of the population the chemicals used to induce sleep have the opposite effect, I'm one of those people who react crazily to it. Last time I took Nyquil I was up for over 40 hours, and I tried to sleep, and simply could not. It was like being on a 2 day sugar high and was simply awful! So try it before you leave, that would be horrible to have happen on vacation!

On the upside if you do have that reaction and take it on vacation, no worries about waking up! You'll be up the whole time!! :rotfl:
