Tips for Stormalong Bay?

I posted this on the resorts board, but think it might belong here.

What kind of toys have you all brought for the sand at stormalong bay? Do they sell things there for play? Are flotation devices brought from home allowed in the pool? I imagine life jackets are provided. Any tips or hints for kids at SAB?

We took our own inner tubes. I purchased them at Walmart for less than $2 each. I think the only rule is that they have to be transparent. Ours were a see thru, but were light blue tinted. I couldn't find clear plastic ones, but ours worked fine. They sell a kids meal at hurricane hannahs that comes in a sand bucket. But, there are(or were) a ton of pails and shovels all over the kids play area, my kids just used the ones that were there. It seems like there were large stacks of them under the life guard chair. There was a long thread about floats and SAB on the DVC board awhile back. You might do a search for it. I'll try to see if I can bump it for you on the DVC board. Erin
