Tips For Seeing Frozen Show At Hyperian & Elsa Meet & Greet

I'm having my 3 yr old daughter do a 10:10am makeover at Anna & Elsa's Boutique in Downtown Disney during our trip on Thursday. I want to knock out both the Meet & Greet and Live Show afterwards since she'll be dressed like Elsa. I'm assuming Elsa & Anna do pictures all day long but the show is only at various times. Has anyone done either recently and know what kind of wait to expect at the Meet & Greet and/or what showtime we should try and make for the Frozen Live Show?

Show up 45 minutes before the start of the Frozen Musical show. The Mezzanine level seems to be the best level.
The Meet and Greet seems to be less busy during the Frozen Musical show, but from experience, if you show up around 3pm or later the line is usually short.

I'm just curious, now she's 3? In all your other threads this week she's 2, but the minimum age for a makeover is 3, not 2.

Correct. Her birthday falls while we are there so couldn't make her appointment until our final day so that's why I'm making sure I can get those 3 things done in the same day. Looks like it won't be a problem though so happy about that. As for buying tickets I had no idea kids under 3 even got in free. My second youngest is 5 and he was 4 when he went so was already used to paying for him. I thought everyone required a ticket so that's not a big deal.

She won't need a ticket then if she turns three after you get there. Unless it's just for your final day.

She will be issued a free ticket for the same number of days your tickets are for and that ticket will be good the entire trip, even though she turns three during your stay.

I noticed when we did the meet and greet that the line moved very slowly. They said it was 5 minutes but it was at least 20 minutes. Then when we met them, I could see why. They spent a ton of time with both of my kids, signing, chatting (even though the kids didn't chat back -shy), and pics. If I were to do it again, I'd show up at the time the meet and greet starts or earlier if possible.
Anna, Elsa and stitch spent the most interaction time in our meet and greets.

Not sure what day you're going, but Frozen Live usually has 2-3 shows a day. They've been changing it around lately, I think because they've been making some changes to the show in the last few weeks. The shows have been at 12:30, 3:30, and 5:30 or just 12:30 and 3:30. They're all crowded, so you should try to line up 45 minutes to an hour before the show.

For the meet and greet, the line seems to fluctuate a lot and it's hard to guess at a certain time how long the line will be. I'd do the show first to make sure you get that in and then walk across the street and do the meet and greet.

know that the meet n greet gets a spike in visitors when the show is over.

Where do you get this ticket? I don't have any under 3 anymore, but when I did, we were never issued any ticket. They just let under 3 through the front gate and if tall enough for any rides that uses FP, just let them in with us without an actual FP for them. Just wondering if things have changed.

I'd probably do the show earlier in the trip, since wearing a costume isn't integral to sitting in a dark theater. Then there's more time to prioritize the meet n greet on the last day. Since that's a photo op, that's when you'll want her to wear the costume.

My kiddo never needed a pass either when he was under three.

I think I was mistaken on the actual ticket, must be confusing it with somewhere else because now I'm looking and can't find that info.

I do know that if your child turns three during your trip they are still free.

Sorry for the confusion.

No problem! I was just curious if things had changed. You are absolutely correct on the not needing the ticket if your child turns 3 on your trip.
