Hi everyone, My mother-in-law is coming with us for a few day of our trip in May and she will be there on her birthday. I would like to plan a special day that will be all about her, topping it off with a special dinner for my inlaws, my wife and my 7 year old son. I would really like it to be a 'magical' for her since she has done so much for us. Any suggestions? Which restaurant do you think will provide that "magic" that will blow her away?
Thanks!

I'm sorry I don't really have any restaurant suggestions, just wanted to BUMP this up for you!

Also, if you are going to be in a park on her birthday, be sure to get her a Birthday Button! She'll get attention from CMs that way!

Wherever you decide to have her special meal, be sure to mention that it's her birthday. She'll most likely get a birthday dessert!

Oh, I just remembered something. I don't know how I forgot! On MY brithday in 2000, we had breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and dinner that night at Tony's. Neither of these were planned especially for that day because of my birthday, that's just when we could get them. Cinderella's gave me a Happy Birthday certificate signed by all the princesses (and Aladdin-YUM!) that were there that morning, as well as a cupcake or something. At Tony's they had everyone in the place twirl their napkins as they sang something and gave me a dessert. The Cinderella's Royal Table character BREAKFAST is really hard to book, but I think for your MIL a DINNER there would be just as special!

Or maybe an Illuminations Cruise? I think there is a Birthday Cruise, also. Maybe someone else will know more about these.

Hope this helps a little!

You might want to post this on the Restaurant Board. I'm sure you'd get many wonderful suggestions! The Tea at the Grand Floridian is fantastic-would be a great place for an afternoon "snack" before your special dinner.

Ooooh, yes, the Tea!! I forgot about that! That's really neat and special, too!::yes::
