Tips for making ADR's and cruise ressies

Somewhere on here I saw a few days ago how to go about making the reservations, and for the life of me I cannot find it tonight.....

I have booked through a travel agent, and can't seem to get a confirmation number out of her. She says that we won't have one until about three weeks before leaving. Now, I am pretty sure that I am going to need one of these babies to book my ADR's and possibly my Illuminations Cruise (if I can be so lucky as to get one).

Could someone kindly point me in the right direction for that thread?

You will not need your confirmation number. You can book ADRs and speciality cruises with just your phone number, although several restaurants and cruises will require a credit card number.

You *will* need a confirmation number to book ADR's if you want to book as early as possible- the 180 +10. If you just want to book at 180, you can book without one.

I guess that solves my problem, since we are well within the 180 day mark now!

I just made all my Adrs last week, using the 180+10 rule. I have rang several times and not once was I asked my ressie number...I had to hand as I was expecting to be asked...but no they all just asked mr where i was staying...but didn't check.
