Hello... I'm the Maid of Honor in my sisters late July wedding at Disney. I was wondering if there was anything special any of you could suggest for me to do? Anything from songs, to decorations, to the night before, etc....... THANKS!!! ::MinnieMo

One word: SPA! My maid of honor read my mind when she suggested and I think that is perfect...we are considering making it a mother-daughter event for the four of us...

Other ideas...just being there to make sure that when we start flipping out thinking illogically that you remind us that it will be magical no matter what happens!:)

The biggest thing you can do is support her throughout her day and the preparations for it. It sounds like you are already doing a super job of thinking along those lines!

For the evening before, perhaps you two could spend some quality time together. My matron of honor and I went to dinner together then enjoyed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party two nights before my wedding. We had a blast hanging out together! Also, spa treatments are lovely. I believe the Grand Floridian spa offers a relaxing tub service with lavender that makes for sweet dreams—it’s called the Peaceful Nights Bath. Here’s a link to the page with the GF spa services: http://www.relaxedyet.com/services.shtml.

treating the bride to a day at the spa sounds like a great idea. it will help her relax and settle her mind as she getting pampered. you can help the bride with some minor arrangements, like if the bride is getting her gown pressed, call and make an appointment with whoever she's getting her dress pressed from. try to do little things to make life easier for the bride. it's very sweet of you to want to do something special for the bride.
