Tips for hanging towels in the rooms?

One of my biggest pet peeves of the rooms is the lack of spaces to hang towels when you have several members sharing a bathroom. Are there any tricks anyone has used?

This isn’t any help in a studio but we bring laundry detergent and dryer sheets and wash every night. It’s not a vacation fun kind of thing but they dry while we are out and you don’t have to look at wet towels!

Clip some of them to skirt hangers and hang in the closet.

A skirt hanger is also a great solution to the annoying drapes gap if you need the room really dark to sleep well. Not terribly attractive but sure beats remembering to pack a clothespin or bag clip.

I have put them on hangers in the closet in the past but never found them to dry well that way. Clips for the curtain is such a great idea though.

You could also just take some command strip hooks and remove them when you leave. We sometimes use the bathing suit pull thing in the shower.

1 - over the towel rack fits one bath towel
2 - sides of the shower (if it's just a shower) - fits 2 bath towels
3 - hangers from the closet, but I take them out of the closet and hang them on a hat hook or something nearby
4 - if you have the shower bar (for a bathtub/shower combo), then you can fit 2, sometimes 3, bath towels. OR use the closet hangers and do that. Plus, sometimes there is that wire thing that you use for bathing suits that runs the length of the shower.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd be buying more points to stay in a 1br with washer-dryer when getting towels dried sufficiently is an issue to this extent.

Buying racks and such to have to haul back and forth or store seems like more effort to me than popping out to the laundry room when staying in a studio. Not like you're paying per load, so why have towels draped here and there?

YMMV somewhat, of course.

The plastic hooks I bring are quite small (3.9 inches long and weigh almost nothing) and definitely less effort than doing laundry. Also, I don't feel it's necessary to wash my towels daily on vacation (or at home.) Seems like a waste of time/water. To each their own, of course.

We just throw the towel in the dryer for 15-20 minutes. We don’t wash them.

We have overdoor hooks that we bring to all timeshare villas, not just DVC. Lack of towel bars is a common issue. We also have a collapsible 3-bar overdoor rack in our Owners Locker.

Yes something to keep in our owners locker is ideal!
These are perfect and won’t take up much space. Thank you!! Love the ones with the bit of non slip on the end.

We often stay in 1 or 2 bedrooms but drying towels isn’t really the issue nor is it practical for our family. I would still have to fold them and keep track of where every ones towel is.
Also, we have an owners locker so the hooks someone linked that easily fit in there is perfect.

Exactly! Love the small hooks to solve an annoyance. Much easier than laundry.
