DH is taking DD7 to Disney this weekend, 11/11. We have an upcoming family trip, but he couldn't wait - just joined DVC! He wanted me to go, but this time of year I can't take off, so I suggested one of the kids (I knew he would not let this go) She is so excited, and as we had to promise the other 2 solo trips, they are too!
Anyway, any tips I can pass on to him about a dad travelling solo with a little girl? I have already had the bathroom talk with him - he refuses to take a girl into the men's bathroom (too filthy) so he will wait outside for her. She is pretty good and independent with that, so I don't see a prob (but this is the main reason I said no about the 5 year old). Am I overlooking anything else? I know it's Disney, but that's no guarantee of safety. Should we have her wear a whistle or is that overkill? She's never been anywhere without me, so I am getting a little nervous, even though DH is very responsible. Can't help it..what if something happens and I am not there?
I am excited for them, just checking with my friends at the DIS for any last-minute advice!
