So I'll preface this by saying I think I know the answers/options but figured I'd ask in case anyone has any tips/tricks/advice that we might be missing...

We (a family of 5) are looking at potentially booking a trip with another family (also a family of 5) and realize that accommodations for a group of 10 can be tricky. As far as I can tell, trying to book for a group of 10 basically eliminates all 2BRs with the exception of VGF and Riviera (which we can't book). Besides the 2BR at VGF, it would appear as though our only two other options are:

1. Book two studios (or two 1BRs) that sleep 5 (Poly, VGF, etc.)
2. Book a Grand Villa

I think generally speaking, we're hesitant to book two studios knowing studios with 5 can be very tight. Unfortunately, two 1BRs or a Grand Villa are probably out of the question due to the current borrowing restrictions (and I don't foresee those restrictions ending anytime soon).

All that being said, any thoughts/suggestions for any strategies we might be missing? Just trying to make sure we cover all options before potentially booking anything. Thanks!

Probably best bet would be three studios at Poly. Get two connecting. Request them to be near to one another.

When is your planned trip? If its in 2022 then the borrowing restrictions might be gone.

We are OKW owners and have entertained large family groups three times in GV's. It is amazing if you have the opportunity.

Book you own accommodations and have the other family rent points for theirs.

Or get a point transfer to cover the number of points you’re short so that you can book the GV or 2 1BR villas.
