Tips for Adult Last Minute Trip - AK, EPC, Grand Flo +

Hi there -

I got booked for a last minute conference for work, staying at the Grand Floridian (never been) and extended for a few days. We have use DIS for planning trips with our kids and have been to WDW many times, but this is a last minute, adults only (not like that!) trip and I haven't had time to do my research into little-known things to look for and tips as I usually do. It has been several years since a thorough WDW visit.

We are doing Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and will probably hit Disney Springs as well. Dinner at Polynesian, The Wave at Contemporary, and a few restaurants at GF.

We love little secrets (i.e., we love Hidden Mickeys) and insider info. If you have any of those, we'd love to hear from you - kind of last minute for us but we're going with the flow! We DID book FastPass+ and order our Magic Bands.

When we go without the kids, we like to just relax and do the things we never get to do with them (sleep in late, eat somewhere other than fast food, have more than one glass of wine, etc.). Shopping, specifically at EPCOT, having drinks at various places depending on our mood. For example, we might decide to have a drink outside at the Poly, or if the weather is not nice, head over to Victoria Falls Lounge at AKL. Sometimes we just take the monorail around and visit the resorts and have drinks at each. During the day, you might consider something other than a park if you've done it a lot - like golf or taking water mice out and exploring around.

As for little secrets, google overlooked attractions at Disneyworld and you should find a site or two that list some little things.
