Tips -DxDDP Question

I understand tips are not included in the dining plans for 2008.
I'm trying to "budget" for our upcoming 5 day trip in December---2 adults. I like to tip well for good service and am hoping for magical service at all the TS restaurants we pan to enjoy.
Rather than getting the menues and adding everything to compute the tips, I thought I'd ask the experts who have used the dining plans.
Just a ball park figure is what I'm looking for ---how much for tips for 5 days. B L D 3 days and B and D on the 2 days we go to Signature locations.

If you figure 2 adults at an average of $100 per person per day, then......

that comes to $500 per person for 5 days, and a total for 2 people of $1,000 in total food cost for 5 days.

at 15% that is $150.00 and at 20% that is $200.00

Of course give or take a bit depending on your actual consumption, but this will work pretty good for a ballpark figure.

I was on the DxDDP this past May. I was solo and chose to do an early TS lunch and a 2 credit Signature restaurant every night. I had only one alcoholic drink the entire week. I spent about $175.00 in tips for my seven night stay.

In Sept I am again using the DxDDP, will be staying eight nights with my mom and husband. We are doing only one Signature restaurant, but are doing three TS meals every day, but two. We did look at the menus, figured what we'd probably eat and not counting any alcohol our tips for three adults come out to around $525.00. This is rounding off the tip to even dollars and is between 18%-20%, leaning more toward the 20%. Again this is for three adults for an eight night/nine day stay.

Just FYI:

On the bottom of your receipt, just under the signature area, Disney now shows you the calculated tip for 20% and 18%.

In other words, they are suggesting either of these options. Since they show them on your receipt, they are driving you to, at least, tip these amounts.

I typically ordered a nice glass of wine with dinner - randing in price from $10-$17. This, in additional to my standard 20% tip, would add up.
