Hello everyone, :goodvibes

We just booked our WDW vacation this past weekend on a whim and now I am trying to make an ADR for CRT for breakfast during the week of April 27 to May 3. We are flexible on what day since we are only planning on going to the parks 2-3 days. Definitely want to eat in the castle for breakfast only since we are not sure how long they will last, and DDs fave princesses are Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Belle. (in that order)

Since we are less than the 90 days out (or more according to what I have been reading on here), any tips for getting a reservation? :worship:

I have tried calling every day for the past week a few times a day, including 7am. No luck! Is this a busy time of year or just that hard to get? :confused3

I have heard that I should try 45 days out because people have to cancel that far in advance to get their money back for the whole vacation, is this true?

I also read on here somewhere that the cancellations don't register until after they close for the day and should try 7am for the best chance. Anyone heard this before? When I have called in the past, asked a CM and was told that the cancellations go into the system immediately.

Thanks in advance! :grouphug:

No advice on getting Cindy's, but alternately, you could try to get the Princess Storybook breakfast at Akershus which has Sleeping Beauty and Belle, or 1900 Park Faire dinner with Cinderella.

Thanks for suggesting that. We did make an ADR (as a backup) for that in case we can't get CRT. However, we don't have Park Hoppers and are unsure if we want to spend an entire day at Epcot with such little ones.

Appreciate your feedback!

A CM told me that folks tend to hang onto that CRT reservation as long as possible before cancelling...so I would keep calling, and especially call just before the 48 hr cancel period (or is CRT a 24 hr cancel?? anyway, you know what I mean).

When a reservation is cancelled, is it available immediately to book.
Keep trying...people change their adrs all the time. Good Luck! We LOVE the castle for breakfast!

Mine love Epcot. They love the Nemo ride & all the fish, Innoventions, the boat ride in Mexico, the ride in the Land, etc etc.

That is a good strategy, I hadn't thought about right before the cancellation. We have a ressie for CRT but were hoping for an earlier time that day... maybe I can do the same thing?

Thanks!! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the unexected trip! How exciting! Will this be your first with your children? :)

Thanks for all the input everyone!

One CM told me that it is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Since we are flexible on dates at the parks, that is fine by me. I just wish I could get things squared away beforehand! One less thing to worry about, KWIM?

This is our first trip as a family! We also are bringing along the Grandmas!

I just thought I would chime in about spending a whole day at Epcot with little ones. My 2 yr 10 mth DD loved Epcot. We were there pretty much from open to close and did not feel like we had enough time. There are lots of princesses running around world showcase. We saw Snow White, Dopey, Belle, Beast, Jasmine, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Pooh, and Tigger. We had lunch at Akershus and saw Belle, Alice, Cinderella, Jasmine and Ariel. DD loved the entertainers and the Kidcot stations. She loved the Nemo and Journey into imagination rides and and the areas at the end of those rides. Other than MK, Epcot was her favorite park.

Try calling later in the day. I've called at night, and also on a Sunday. I didn't have any problem getting through, and getting a reservation for CRT.

We are going to CRT that same week, and trying to add one person to our current party of four. One of the CM's told me the same things other posters have said, call 24-48 hrs. before hand. She said that because those not on the dining plan have to pre-pay for CRT not many cancel their reservations? I don't know...we're going to keep trying! Good luck!!
