If they haul your bags, they should be tipped. If you just give them to them at Bell Services storage area (and you do all the hauling), no tip until they are delivered to your villa.
Thank you!

You'll get varying answers here. The facts of the matter are that the standard is you tip at the bag destination, usually the room on arrival and the car on departure. Plus that Disney has made these 2 separate steps with the valet's being contract workers and the bell services being Disney employees. My position is the standard has not changed and therefore neither should I and like valet parking where the standard is you tip at pickup but not at drop off, it should be handled internally/contractually.I'm never sure what to do when we check into BWV. We do NOT valet park our car. Am I "supposed" to tip the valet person who takes the bags out of the car & loads the cart, and then 12 minutes later tip the Bellman who brings the luggage to the room? Or, am I only "supposed" to tip the person who actually delivers the luggage to the room? I always tip both.
Just wondering what others do.
Yea, I especially love it when the person who unloads the car says "now, you won't be seeing me again...... someone else will be bringing your bags to your room". I guess since I love staying at BWV so much, I will continue to tip 3 times to get my bags to my room and then back to my car.Dean said:You'll get varying answers here. Here's another ambiguous tipping situation. When you go to resort airline check-in, how many people do you tip there?
We usually roll our luggage to the counter. Sometimes, one person will take our bags from us and move them two feet. Then, another person will tag the bags for us. Do you tip both people in this case?

I asked the Bags people. They split the tips so I just tip once.
I think we'd have to have a discussion of proper tipping etiquette on the spot. The reality is that I am not comfortable with other people being in control of my bags, bordering on the phobia side but not quite. Therefore I don't let them handle bags, park the car or clean the room if I can avoid it.Yea, I especially love it when the person who unloads the car says "now, you won't be seeing me again...... someone else will be bringing your bags to your room". I feel obligated to tip anyone who has to handle my wife's bags when we travel....those poor, poor unfortunate saps who have to lift those concrete laden things
