'TIPPING WITH THE DDP" ???

I do the gift card every trip but do charge to the room and then go pay it off at the front desk using that Gift Card. I go on to the menus and look at the most expensive app, entrée, dessert, and beverage that we might get. I calculate my tips using that amount. I then put a little extra on the gift card for superior service that we might encounter. I usually have money left over on the card at the end of the trip and we buy something to remember the trip buy. It works great for us.

I used my Chase Disney Visa rewards card for tips. Same concept, and worked really well.

I do this every trip. It makes the $1000+ I budget for tips hurt a little less. At least I am earing Disney Dollars as I call it.
