Tipping with free dining

We are going to Disney in August and booked with free dining. Will our restaurants give us a bill with what the price would have been so that we can calculate a tip? Or do we have to look at menus ahead of time and guesstimate what we need to tip? How does this work?

Yes you get a bill with a total so you will know what to tip. Also, you will see and pay for any extras like adult bevs or appetizers that remain after DP credits have been applied.
