Tipping the Magical Express Drivers?

A free ride to and from the airport and a $5-10 tip between two drivers is saving money over renting a car? I have to say that's a first for me.
We are renting the car anyway for the entire time of 4 weeks....it was simply whether it would be from when we get to the airport or at WDW the next day.

I'm with DisneyNutz though Disney pays for each Guest handled by Mears, (the contractor), that's why they scan your bar code. The cost to Disney is covered by the inflated prices that we pay. If the driver does something special we will tip. We don't tip just for the ride.

At least I know what to expect now though because as I say tipping never occurred to me at all for use of ME

We usually tip a few dollars or if the driver has handled our baggage we give a little more. However, I think it's rude to ask for a tip & it just irks me when they mention it.

I have never had a driver ask for a tip so that isn't a problem for me. I treat ME like I would treat a taxi here not a city bus.

To me it is a tipped position that being said We generally do $2.00 per bag so it is generally about $10.00 sometimes more if the driver helps me get the stroller set up or helps me and DH with the kids which has happened with us. I think a lot of it depends on you and what you find acceptable.

I know if someone blatantly asked I would probably give less because to me that is just pushy and bad manners

I'm among those who didn't think a tip was required unless the driver was handling luggage for us.

Please don't tip the busses, the drivers are having enough problems lately.

Seriously though, I don't tip a Greyhound bus driver, I didn't realize that it's common to tip these guys.

Some (if not all) the ME buses have signs that say, "Driver gladly accepts tips" or something to that affect, otherwise we probably wouldn't have thought about it either, unless like I said before, they were handling our luggage. We certainly don't tip the bus drivers in WDW.

I never tip the driver...I hate the fact that everyone needs a TIP...anyway I never tip the ME driver because I never have bags...so I never so the need/purpose of tipping the person that is doing there job...I dont tip a regular bus driver I pay my fare and go my way...the same with ME I never have bags with me I pay my fare and go my way!!!

side note..I took a taxi from the AKL to GF today...not my first time...well this driver took the longest route in history...I asked a tourist like question,"is this a short cut?'" yes ma'am it is well at the end of the drive it was a $25 ride!!!SO OFF TOPIC...but he looked at me like where's my tip and I looked at him like YEAH RIGHT IM AN IDIOT!!!
