My family is taking a cruise with my parents in January. We are on the same deck but they are several rooms down from us. They’ve offered to have my son sleep in their room all or part of the time.
If he does sleep in their room and we have different hosts, how should we handle tipping? We will of course tip our host as if we had 4 people in the room the whole time. But I’m not sure what the expectation or etiquette is for the other host. Should we leave cash for my parents to give? Should we add money at guest services? Or do we not bother? I’m honestly not sure what more the host still need to do besides put the bed back up. We haven’t gone with my parents before so I’m not sure how this will all play out.
