Tipping, not common in France?

i've read that you don't need to tip servers/drivers but what about housekeeping staff at the hotel?

You don't tip anyone in France. Service and taxes are included in prices.

You can round up in restaurants if you like and leave a couple of €'s if the service was excellent but no more than that is either needed, expected or encouraged
