Tipping mousekeeping

When we travel we usually tip every day because we know that the cleaning people may change daily.

Just wondering if you have a special place to leave your tip each day. I used to leave it on the pillowcase?(my MIL was a housekeeper at an Inn and she suggested this)

Where do you leave yours, so that mousekeeping knows it is for them??

I've always left mine next to the sink and the envelope is marked "Mousekeeping"

Do they provide envelopes? I don't remember them from our last trip, but it's been awhile.

Nope, I bring my own.

We leave ours on the ledge above the sink with a note that says, "Thank you Mousekeeping".

yep, that's more then enough since mousekeeping is not a tipped position.

Thanks....just wanted to be sure that what I am leaving is about what everyone else does.

And I wish I could afford to leave more...I mean they are cleaning up my mess afterall. But being in DW is expensive in and of itself so I guess as long as I attempt to leave something I am ok.

I have created tip envelopes with For Mousekeeping- Thank You! on them with disney characters. I've already filled them and sealed them so I dont have to go digging for money while I'm there. I tip $2/day since there's only 2 of us and we keep the room clean. I leave an envelope on the table in the room each day before we leave.

We also leave $5 a day. We are VERY tidy in our room but I have seen others that .... take your breath away so I guess it compensates for those rooms.

I generally tuck it next to the card with the mousekeeper's name.

We also stop by and say hello when we are leaving...that way they know we are gone and clean our room right away.

I usually leave it on the foot of the bed in an envelope decorated with Disney stickers and write THANK YOU on it. I usually leave $5/4 of us.
