Tipping "Merry Maids" -- HELP!

I use a "Merry Maid" type service to clean my apartment.

Should I be tipping the "maids" who come to clean? If so, how much?

You are paying for a service and they set the price. If you asked them to do something out of the ordinary, I might tip then. Christmas tipping (bonus) is the only time I would tip.

Years ago, I worked for Merry Maids. I agree with the above poster. I never expected a tip, but usually got tips at Christmas or for service above their ordinary service.
