Tipping for Housekeeping

I have a five night stay booked for HRH. Staying at club level w/ 2 adults. How much tip should I leave per night? We are pretty neat people, but at Disney I made sure we tipped about $4 a day. Acceptable?

We are 2 adults and 3 children. I tip housekeeping $5 per day at both Disney and Universal.

I think $4 a day is good. The general rule of thumb I've always heard has been at least $1 per person per day/night. And like you I always tip a little more. Especially if the service is good. Or if my kids made a big mess, even a bigger tip.

I agree $4/5 is plenty enough.

On Club Level, you will get turn down service every night, and we'd leave $2 then as well. They will give a mini-cleaning then as well -- like checking if you need extra towels, etc.
