Tipping for DVC members

In reading this thread, I'm realizing that I apparently don't even know how to tip at a regular/non-timeshare resort. I've always just left some cash in the envelope when we check-out, but it sounds like other people leave a daily tip??? I didn't even know that was a thing or expected...

Everyone is a huge tipper on the internet.

My maintenance fees pay the salaries, I don't feel the need to tip.

Each to their own.

We do not tip. It is a non-tipped position and we were advised when we bought DVC back in the day that it is included in the annual dues. Pretty sure I was able to locate this on the Disney website at one point as well.

On the days they pick up trash and change towels, I leave a small gift, that is actually worth more than the few dollars that I might leave them.
