Tipping Concierge?

Every time we've stayed concierge, we've had different staff members throughout our stay. For this stay @ AKL Kilimanjaro Club, we have received excellent pre-trip planning services (and we only made the ressies a few days ago!) In the past I've never tipped a concierge, but I'm wondering iy any of you do it, and if so, how and to whom?

Great question! This upcoming trip will be our first time staying Concierge and I thought I would put a couple bucks in a seperate envelope at night for the turndown service maids (in addition to the morning maid service)

When we stayed at GF, concierge level a few years ago (2000?) we were told concierge (concierges?) could not accept tips. Seems strange.

Holy Cow, the tipping never ends. I agree, it seems like if you tip housekeeping, why wouldn't you tip conceirge, but where does it end. Now there's housekeeping, the guy who brings up your bags, valet parking and turndown service. Do you tip the conceirge staff at the front desk, what about in the lounge?

We've never stayed at conceirge before and don't want to come off as cheap. How much do you tip turndown service and all the others?
