We were just wondering if it is OK to tip CMs in the parks or resorts. There has been a number of times when a CM has helped us beyond our expectations, we really want to return the favor.

I know the BEST thing you can do for a CM is write down their name and location and go to GS to fill out a compliment card. This works WONDERS for their yearly reveiws and lets them know that someone went out of THEIR way to compliment them.
Also true for servers, btw.
I've heard that if they refuse three times and then accept a tip that the tips must be turned in to their manager. The CM does not keep it.

On every trip my daughter gets a hair wrap at one of the carts. I always tip and it is always accepted.
What does the manager do with it?
Seems to me that the best way to thank a CM is to go to guest services with the CMs name and location. Just have to remember to go to GS before we leave.
