Tipping at the Drive Thru Window

Wow, I haven't seen that at a fast food restaurant yet, maybe I just don't go to them often enough! :rotfl:

I've seen them at the Starbucks window and counter, Dunkin Donuts window, Moe's and even at a KFC window (that's the one that said "help us with our gas").

I went to order some biking gear online once, and I was like WTH?

Tips for the Shipping Crew (The Shipping Crew Pick, Pack & Ship Orders) Tip Amt ------------ $5.00 Tip $3.00 Tip $1.00 Tip
Monica, one of the Shipping Crew (they're all Working Moms) suggested a tip cup on the Counter (or in this case the website). The owners said sure because THEY DO all the hard work...If a Customer wants to tip Great! 100% of the tip money goes to them.
(A few people do not understand the tip cup and call and complain but please if you don't want to tip THAT'S FINE)

Sorry, if they do all the hard work, they should be paid for that. And, sorry, I also don't care that they're working moms. Who ISN'T a working mom anymore?

I've had people at Sonic (the ones who take food out to you) ask if I needed change back. :confused3 I never know if I'm supposed to tip there or not, so I avoid going to Sonic altogether. If I do go, I use their drive-thru because I don't feel obligated to tip in that scenario.

I've tipped at Sonic a couple times.... but.yeah, that scenario is questionable to me.. I won't tip at a fastfood place, but the only one I've ever seen a tip jar at is Moes.
My new question is this..I used to always tip nicely for pizza people... but now i've noticed they tack on soo much charges.. a delivery fee and another fee. My 12.99 pizza came to 18something.. I still tipped, but now I'm debating on whether I need to????

They have to get my order right before I'll consider tipping. Not much chance of that happening anytime soon. The fast food restaurants around us are like a SNL skit. Maybe I SHOULD pay them for the entertainment value. neh.
