Before I leave for my trip, I plan on buying GC's to use for all of my food purchases. Am I able to include a tip when I pay using the gift card?

Yes you can tip with a gift card. I have done this many times.

What we do is charge everything to our room using our Magic Band. Then I pay the room charge with my gift cards. No need to carry cards and risk losing them. Just be sure to pay with your gift card the night before checkout so nothing is charged to the credit card on file.

This is the only way to go for us. We leave the gift and CC's in the safe and use the gift card when the room charges start building up.
