Tip or Strategy to possibly ride M.S.

We were at the parks last week and dh, dd, ds, and neice were able to ride Mission to Space. We had stopped several times during the day and it was not open but when we stopped at between 8:00 and 8:30 pm it was open. They got to ride it two nights in a row. They all said it was awesome. We figure that maybe it is open at this time because people are set up to watch illuminations at that time so the amount of riders is limited. Good luck! The store has some 2003 dated items for sale, too.

We were also at the parks last week. The two days we were at Epcot MS opened between 4 and 4:30.

thinkerbell - Did you ride it? I didn't but the teens and dear husband did and they loved it. Just wondering what your feeling are about the ride.

We were there last Monday and DH, DD, and me got to ride it around 5:00-5:30. The feeling of G-forces is incredible and almost to over whelming. DH and DD loved it and they are ready to ride again. I will give it one more chance, I think because it was new and I didn't know what was going to happen may have contributed to why I got a little nausaus. We did meet a woman and two older teenagers on the monorail that had just gotten off, none of them related, and they were all feeling sick! All in all it was an awsome ride.

We checked periodically during the day last Monday (June 23); MS was still closed at 3:30pm and was open when we checked again at 4:30.

We rode twice except for one person in our party who felt a little dizzy and didn't want to ride again. I felt like riding again, but we had other things on our schedule to do.

When riding, there is a period of weightlessness which you may not notice since the riders are seated and there is a restraining bar. The simulator will make an announcement about the weightlessness (I think after the sling shot around the moon) and you can lift yourself and notice it.
