We had photocopied the back of all 12 PHP passes we had for our recent trip just in case. Well it came in handy as my DB lost his PHP at the HM fastpass machine (he thinks). Well no problem we had the copies. BUT there was a problem, the photocopies were in parents safe at the Dolphin and parents are over in Disney studios. Tehy met at the Dolphin and all returned to DS were a new pass was issued.
Do photocopy the tickets. The CM said if we didn't have it he would have been screwed. ! But it might be wise to carry the copies with you.

I would make 2 sets of copies to be safe and keep them in separate places.

because of this forum we also photocopied all 10 PHP tickets - well we also lost our ticket at the fast pass machine and our copies were back at the hotel.

my husband was able to go to the CM with the remaining 9 tickets and he could tell in the system that one in the middle of the batch was indeed missing and he cancelled out the old one and issued a new one without the copies!!

we were so grateful because we would have lost all that time going back to the hotel - so if you do lose one try it without the copies first before going to the hotel. bottom line is definitely copy them.

If your passes were purchased from the same seller at the same time, Guest Services can look up a lost pass using one of the other passes.

I have such a hodgepodge of passes from previous years, that I keep my copies in my passporter and ALWAYS carry it with me.

I hope Disney will look at the FP machine system, because I did the same thing. Got FP tickets and was in a hurry and forgot to take the last UPH out of the machine. No one was behind me in line to point it out. I went back to the Disney desk at our hotel (where I had purchased them) and they were able to scan the other 3 tix, cancel the missing one and issue another one. The woman said if I had purchased the tix from any of the discount brokers, they would not have been able to do this  .

I have vouchers and plan to activate the passes in DTD when we arrive that evening. We are staying at POFQ. Anyone know where we can make photocopies on the property?

I lost my combined room key, charge card and PH in Blizzard Beach, but the desk clerk at OKW just cancelled it and re-issued a new one with no qualms... hence why I'd always book them with the resort I'm staying, even if it does cost a bit more.

I was wondering the same thing about making copies on site, since we will be activating our first ever AP's this trip!!Yay! Anyone know if the resort will copy them for you? or if there is a copy machine at any of the resorts?

Kristin's Mommy....If you have annual passes, your information is already stored in the computer. Youwill have to have your photo id when you activate, and youwill stay in the system. Once you have your activated AP's, your info will be stored if they are lost, you will only need your id...this happened to my DH on our last trip. The AP's are paper and he swam with it, it was totally destroyed. We went to guest services with his id,and they quickly replaced it.

When you check in at any of the Disney resorts, they will photo copy your passes. I did this a couple of years ago and all five passes came out on one sheet of paper.

When you purcahse your tickets at the Disney Store you are given 2 receipts. One has all of your pass #s on them in case they become lost or stolen.

We lost one of our 7 day PHP tickets on the first day! Talk about upset! I had a copy of them back in the hotel safe at the Dolphin but before going back to get that we took the 3 remaining tickets to Guest services and they were able to determine the number of the missing ticket so they cancelled the missing one and issued us a new ticket without the copy - I was so relieved - but i will always continue to copy the backs or write the numbers down somewhere just incase. Also our tickets were purchased through Hotwire Savings Club and the CM had no problem at all pulling the info up with the other 3 tickets.

Thanks for the replies! I will probably still copy my AP, just because I'm anal that way! Also, I was really asking for other members of my party who will have PHP passes. Thanks again!

...just be careful not to leave your passes in the machine. Not that I'd ever do that or anything...:rolleyes1

After reading the info on this board I immediately scanned all my tickets when they arrived in the mail. That's a good idea about making an extra copy so I will do that before I go. It wouldn't hurt to have a second copy back at the hotel.
