How much of a tip do I give the:

LIMO driver____
Airline porters (per bag)____
Hotel Porters (per bag)____
Maid per day (we Have a suite so, does the maid get more?) ____

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!! :)

Here's what I would tip:

LIMO driver: 20% of total (or 10% each way)
Airline porters (per bag): $1 per bag
Hotel Porters (per bag): $1 per bag
Maid per day (we Have a suite so, does the maid get more?): $1 per person but my family of 4 gives $5.

This is what we tipped but I only went by guesswork and some DIS :disrocks: recommendations:

(1) We had Towncar service (Thanks Sam!!!) and tipped our driver $15 (there were 3 of us)
(2) Airline porters were given $1 per checked bag ($3) at the Delta curbside check in
(3) Stayed onsite and hauled our own luggage
(4) Maid service- this was a difficult one for me. I ended up leaving her $3 on 3 days and then $10 on our last day. (We had a ten day stay)

Some people dont like to tip the maids, they consider them to be part of your hotel service and included in the price. Do what you think is right and fair. If you are going to tip the maid remember not to wait until the last day since some work so many days on and so many off.

Hope this helps!! :wave2:

Another tipping question - if you're switching resorts during your stay & having Disney transfer your bags, do you leave a tip on your luggage for the person who transports your bags?

yes u do give them a tip because they mostly work for tips. My brother works at a hotel in disney and he is a bellman/vallay parker. U tip 2$ a bag and leave another 2$ tip for each bag that tey transfer. Have a good time at disney!!!!!!!!!!

I guess my question is more on where to leave the tip, as we will not see the person who picks our bags up from the room because we will already be off to the parks. Do we leave the tip on the luggage? Just want to be sure the right person gets the tip.

U tip 2$ a bag and leave another 2$ tip for each bag that tey transfer.
I'm not sure I'm understanding exactly what you're saying here. Do you mean $2 per bag for the person who transfers the bags, & another $2 for the person who brings the bags to our next resort room? If so, not sure I would be able to figure out who brought the bags to the room, as we probably won't be in the room when they arrive. The last time we transferred resorts, they picked the bags up when we were not there & the bags were in our next resort room when we arrived there. Hope all that makes sense.

my tip would be "make sure you have got your shoes on when walking on glass.( just kiddin ) only give what you can ok theres no law "thay wont lock u away . have a good one ok . alan
