Tinsel or no tinsel???

No tinsel, but again, our tree was never complete without it when I was little.

Oh, I thought we were talking about tinsel as in another word for garland. But we're talking about silver icicles, apparently. We had icicles on our tree growing up, and I think my Mom still uses them, but I don't have any on my tree at my house.

I didn't know you could even find tinsel anymore -- I never see it in stores!

We used to have it on our tree when I was a child, but I wouldn't use it now. Too messy, and potentially dangerous for our kitties.

No tinsel for us. I got tired of finding it everywhere for months afterwards, as well as how much of it stuck to the dog. Now with a puppy, anything shiny grabs his attention, so much better to not have it than have him eat it. Plus, I can just see how much would get stuck in his hair (very longhaired Newfie)
