i like the new one! Very cute, weather-appropriate and adventurous.

I'll maybe get flamed for saying this - but IMO it's good it's not quite so over the top sexy, too. Seems like a lot of 'little girl' characters are getting MORE 'adult' and this is a refreshing change.

No flaming here......IMO Tinkerbell's image was getting alittle dare I say "trashy" looking. I never had a problem with her outfit, just that she was getting portrayed as being alittle too sassy with the whole "Its all about me" merchandise.
However, I totally agree that the new outfit is just down right disgusting!

i personally think they are just trying to vary her wardrobe. all the other princesses have multiple dresses and clothes. she looks too much like Peter Pan now.

Hey guys, I watched the movie during an annual passholder preview last month and it makes sense, not to worry!

It was explained to us that the faeries will get different outfits that will fit the different seasons since they have to go to the mainland to work. Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn and Iridessa will get updated looks as well for fall, winter and summer months (yes there will be a summer movie!)

Tink makes her own "adventure" clothes when she has to leave Pixie Hollow on a daring mission. The belt around her waist is to carry a pouch of extra pixie dust to help her on her adventure. She does go on a long on a quest way away from home (that signature short temper of hers gets her into trouble), that is why she needs the extra stuff.

I don't want to spoil the movie, but it was very cute. We got an sneak peak for the summer movie and it looked like a lot of fun as well.

Of course there is a line of merchandise tied in with the new outfits, if you visit your local stores you can actually see the new dolls out now on their new costumes.
