Hi,

Does tink fly from the castle everytime FITS is performed. I remember when we saw the show in 2001 there was no tink. But the year before we did see her.

We will be at the world late august and i'd love to catch the whole show including tink on tape.

thanks

I've heard that she doesn't fly in inclement weather (makes sense). I also read a rumor somewhere that she can't fly if she weighs over a certain amount (that one seems a bit iffy to me!).

There are plenty of FITS during August, so I'd say you have a good chance of catching her. I know my two kids are dying to see her fly- hope we can get a good viewpoint to watch her.

Have a great trip

The best place to see her is on the bridge going over to Tomorrowland...tho it is not the best spot to watch the fireworks.

I hope folks won't mind if I tag a question here, but

what is the best place or places to catch both Tink's flight and a good view of the fireworks. After 4 trips, we've never seen either!
We were there for fireworks once but we didn't know where to go and the place we were had no view! Would like to catch both this trip and will have one shot to do it.

Thanks!
Sharon

The best way to find a good spot to see Tink is to look for the guide wire in the daylight. I like to stand near Crystal Palace myself.

Just back from WDW. We stood in front of the grassy, circular, area in front of the Castle, next to a popcorn stand. We saw Tinkerbell's flight and the fireworks without a problem.

It was great!

She flies the same wire as the witch at MNSSHP doesn't she? Last year, we sat at the very bottom tier of the, I believe, Plaza Restaurant in Tomorrowland. The restaurant was closed, but you could still sit there as that part of the seating is outside. The wire is just overhead and at that point she is almost landing so you can see here really clearly. We followed her flight all the way from the little door in the castle she came out, down to where we were sitting. And the view for the fireworks was great from there!

FYI: A few years ago my cousin was tinkerbell. She is about 5 ft and weights 100lbs. That size and weight is a requirement. They are not required to fly when it rains or even if it rained just before the flight because the wire would be too wet and the handbrakes would not be sufficient for stopping. Once she flew after it rained (on her request because her family was watching, disney gave her the option to cancel) and she went so fast that at the landing area on a building roof in tomorrow land where two guys help her stop with a blanket wrapped in front of her, they couldn't keep up and she hit the padded wall at the end of the building. Thank G_D she was not hurt. Thought it was a neat story to tell.

We watched the fireworks from the plaza last Jan.
The view of the fireworks was excellent and Patt is right she lands on the roof right above your head. We picked the sight because it was right next to the special guest area for fireworks viewing. Our 2 year old loves Tink and it was a thrill to her because we had tried to point out Tink to her the night before but she couldn't follow her down the wire.

On our Keys to The Kingdom tour our guide said that Tink was sometimes played by a man. I wonder what the weight/height range can be?
