Just wanted to say hi! I'm the one who left you a note on your stroller outside of Cosmic Rays way back in Ocober!

Background on why it took me this long...I was reading a thread on how the "search" function doesn't work to find your own posts, and someone suggested using advnaced search with a user name. So, I tried it using my own. Instead of getting any of my own posts, though, one of yours came up where you mentioned seeing my note. I'd never seen your post before, so I hadn't known you'd said hello.

Oh, and it probably was me you saw sitting and talking on my cell phone. We had just arrived at WDW that day and went to MK after checking in at POP. Our DD fell asleep, and while DH took DS on the Tomorrowland Speedway, I was walking around with DD in the stroller (with my LGMH attached!). I saw your LGMH and was so excited to spot another DISer so quickly that I just had to leave a note! When I was done, I found a shady spot (boy was it hot that day!) to rest and I was hoping to catch you coming out. I guess I missed seeing you though. Hope you had a great trip!

I was so excited, LOL! Especially since it was our very first day. I ran into two other DISers, each of whom approached me when they say my LGMH. So glad I had it!

Hello! Got your PM and came searching for this thread...already 3 pages back, of course!
I should have PMed you back then but it was a busy time for us and I was a little scatterbrained (okay, a lot). We spent 3 weeks in Orlando (not all in WDW, alas!) and then came home November 6. November 10 our son turned 2 and the 11th was his huge birthday bash. The 12th, we moved most of our stuff into our new home, and on the 15th we had to be totally out of the old place. Then there was Thanksgiving. Then Christmas. I plead insanity!
It was really nice having a brush with another Diser! Our son doesn't ride in the stroller anymore, so I'm going to come up with another way to identify us to other Disers in September. Do you think my lime green Crocs will do the trick?

Wow - you did have a lot on your plate! Glad it all started with a great trip to WDW, though!

As for the LGMH, I had one on the stroller (which you saw) and one on my purse. The other two DISers that I met saw that one and said "hi" to me, so you can always put yours on a backpack or purse. And, FWIW, our DD was 4 at the time and we brought the stroller anyway. It was great to have a place for her to nap a couple times and, even better, I LOVED having something to carry all our stuff! (Heck, I still take it to the mall when I shop with her - best place for all the coats and my shopping bags, LOL!)
