We did have a great trip. I actually think I have DH convinced that we need to take DS back next year :woohoo: He was just so excited about EVERYTHING that 2 years is just too far away! I'll be posting my TR soon.

Thank you so much Maddi for organizing this swap. It was so nice that DS was comfortable and we didn't have to risk our stroller getting ruined on an airplane! I know you have had to deal with a lot of unnecessary stress lately with the swaps and I truly appreciate your sticking with it and not just washing your hands of it all.

You are awesome!

Thanks but it is more like burned out. The changes have made this more stressful than every and really hectic trying to get things worked out.

The sweet lil Tinkerbelle swap has been neglected chatter wise but it's still going strong.

OK...Do it push as easily as the doubles? I LOVED how easy it was to push the doubles up the hill beside the castle. I can't wait until it is my turn to use it!

I am so glad that Michaelsmom had a great trip!!!:cool1:
I am looking forward to a TR:thumbsup2

I thought it pushed great! My biggest problem was the "not-so-bright" people that decided it was a good idea to jump in front of me, or worse, push their kids in front of me! I had trouble turning it a few times, but it was just me not being used to a 3-wheeled stroller. I really loved using it! DS is starting to outgrow our stroller here (and he's a small kid) but he really fit great in Tink and slept for 1 1/2-2 hours at a time in it. And, he didn't even mind being reclined when he sat back either. The bonus...it was so easy to find because it is a pretty bright red and it was the only stroller around with the sunshade on it!

I saw TONS of the doubles just like the RC's and I kept stopping to see if there was a silk screen on it...I even stopped someone to ask them. He looked at me like I was insane and said "ah, NO, this is our stroller!" He probably thought I was accusing me of stealing it!

Seriously- This thing is so easy to push. I have never used one like this before, but I LOVE it. My DD is 5 and she loves it too. She keeps asking if we can just take it home.:rotfl: She is not going to like getting back to reality and having to walk again.

HAHAHAA

I did something like that last year while getting on the buzz lightyear ride. This family had the stick ppl with ears shirts on (yep, I troll the DISdesign thread occassionally) have you seen those cute shirts? This is the only place I had ever seen them.

Anyway, we were in line almost all the way to the front when I noticed this family of four with those shirts on. So I pardon way my up to them so I could say "HEY" to a fellow Dis'er. I tap this woman on the should and say "Hi, I'm parkers*momma from Disboards, do you DIS? She looked at me like I had three heads and said "what", So I ask her if she is a member of DISBOARDS...still looking at me like I am nuts she says, "what is that?" as she start guarding her children from the crazy red head. I apologize and explain about Disboards and how a fellow Dis'er created that design and alot of DIs'er used the shirt design for their trips. CURTLY she replies, "I designed these shirts completely on my own and I have no clue what you are talking about". I apologized, moved back to my place all the while thinking "sure...sure you created shirt"

So now I look for LGMH cause only DIS'ers would be brave enough to wear a Home Depot Paint chip to WDW...lol!

hahaha That was me last year...I wanted to bring it home. I really had a hard time turning it over to the next swapper but looking at her two lil boys made it easier.

That is why I chose this instep....The doubles were HEAVEN!

I think most DISers have done this!!!!:lmao:
My 2DD's thought I was crazy last year when I had the lime green and red home depot Mickey heads taped to our bedroom window at POP. I also had a couple pinned to my lanyard!!! Younever know when you are going to meet a fellow addict!!:goodvibes

I'll have to remember to go to Home Depot before my next trip. I never thought about wearing them!!! What a great way to know for sure that you're bumping into a fellow DISer (either that or they're just a wacko for wearing paint chips)!

I think I have DH convinced that we need to go back next year!!!

Disboards un-official color is Lime green. So if you are at WDW and see someone wearing Anything with a Lime Green Mickey, you can almost bet they are from Disboards.

Home Depot had FREE paint sample chips that are in the shape of Mickey mouse. So before a trip, DIS'ers raid Home Depot for the FREE LIME GREEN MICKEY HEADS>LGMH. I also raid the other colors just because you never know what you might need them for...scrapbooking, decorating, etc.

Then we decorate strollers, backpacks, room windows, pin them on our hats, shirts..anything everything so if another DIS'er sees it, they know you are from DISBOARDS. I've meet quite a few DIS'ers while standing in a line for a show, the parades, walking down the street. It's really alot of fun.

Thanks for the explanation! I was thinking paint chips as in flecks of paint off an old door or something-totally confused. Maddi-you always straighten me out.
