Tinker bell will be coming to our room every night that there are no tantrums (and yes, this will been forced!!) I need some ideas of what she might bring. So far, I have a new princess dress, sunglasses, lip gloss, an autograph book and a watch. I need two more things (no stuffed animals or dolls or books or activity books / crayons) does anyone have any inexpensive ideas for me? It's for a five year old girl and I'd like to keep it under $5.

Love this idea! I've given the girls all their gifts at once but maybe I'll start spreading them out like this too.

Dollar store also may have puzzles. I picked up princess flip-flops at the Disney Store for $2.50 (you might find some at Wal-Mart or Target).

Towel? Might be over 5, but useful!! Also dollar tree has the magic washcloths - my girls loved those! And michaels has dollar section with princess and Minnie stuff - got a bracelet and necklace set there. Water bottle is another idea. We just got back - my girls loved having tinkerbell visit!! They talk about it a lot and tell their friends all about it!

I found glow stick headbands with mickey-shaped ears at our dollar store!!

Have you checked the Twice Upon a Time sale on the Disney Store website? You can get free shipping right now with purchase of any Disney Parks item.

How about:
- glow stick wands from Dollar Tree
- a coupon for one souvenir of her choice (last day)
- nail polish (I think Walmart sells kid-friendly non-toxic polish)
- hair ties/headbands

We like stuff they will need on the trip anyway but the Disney version.....Princess PJ's, Disney shampoo or body wash and a $ store princess wash cloth. A princess tooth brush, t-shirt or socks.
Also like the coupon idea. Coupon for a mickey bar, or balloon or cup cake.

I do that too, love the coupon idea as well. For DD we would do a coupon for Pick A Pearl at Epcot, she'd go nuts - loves that place.

How about monogrammed Mickey ears? DD really loved getting pink glittery sandals, a Tink hat & purse (I got them at walmart), Disney jewelry (like new earrings, nothing pricey) and a bathing suit for the trip.

Our Target has a $5 and under section, and there is always Disney stuff in it.

We do this as well, every morning before my DD (now 7) wakes up I put something outside on the balcony from Tink. Honestly, we just do really small dollar type gifts, mostly from Target or Michaels - all with a Disney theme. Glo sticks, the play packs with crayons, jewelry, lip gloss, books, and things for her to do on the plane ride home. It is always a huge hit and starts the day off on a special note.

We have been taking her to WDW at least twice a year since she was 2 so at this point she would be really disappointed if Tink didn't pay us a nightly visit!

Our kids also received an invitation to the sit down meal of the day as a surprise every morning. They think Cinderella noticed how well behaved they were for most of the trip and invited them to breakfast in her castle.

Those are all great ideas! I especially love the water bottle! My daughter gets upset when her sister (20 months) has something that she wants and makes up stories about how the little one took it from her. I'm hoping the threat of tinker bell not coming might help curb the sibling rivalry a bit. I'm maybe not very nice, but Tinkerbell will definitely only come if we've had a harmonious day. A little bribery goes a long way!

Target sometimes has little Disney items in their dollar section.
I used this idea last time to help my sleepy heads get up in the morning.
It worked great!:cool1:
I love the idea of using it to reinforce good behavior as well!:thumbsup2

she's planning to bring us cool light up glow toys the night before we see wishes, binoculars the night before we go explore AKL, new jammas and water bottles different nights, pillowcases with DISigns iron on name fills the first night, and a prince and princess crown the night before our princess dinner at Akershaus...

I'd always include a disposable camera from Tinkerbell! My girls loved taking their own pictures. One trip, my daughter had taken pictures of rabbits, ducks, birds, lizards, and a few flowers!
