Does anyone have any good ideas for places other than the Disney store to purchase a tinkerbell costume? I am looking for a toddler size. I was hoping to find one at a little better price than $39 on Disney's site. However, I do not want to sacrifice the overall look and comfort of the costume for the price. It is just hard to spend so much for one night of fun! I have been checking out ebay as well, but they are going for a lot right now.

I know some people have mentioned Sam's Club, BJ's and Cracker Barrel in another post. Did anyone happen to notice if they also had a Tinkerbell?

I was just in Target today (who are we kidding, I'm there EVERY DAY!!!) and in their girls dress up section they have a Disney Fairies Tinkerbell outfit for $19.99. It's very pretty.

I just got the one that is on the disney shopping website (39$), with wings, wand, shoes, off of ebay for 20$-including shipping! It was used but you can't tell at all. Be careful with the wings, my dd 4 has had them for like 5 days and they are ripping at the edges. I tried to stop it and prevent future rips by putting some glitter nail polish along the edge.

Have you tried consignment shops? The one near us had the full Tinkerbell costume (dress, wings, wand, tiara, shoes, and gloves) for $20, and a gold Belle dress for $10 the last time I was there. Both were in great condition.

Tinkerbell was such a good deal that I bought it for my DD4, who has since outgrown it. She wore it all the time for 6 months straight (and as often as she could squeeze herself into it thereafter), so it's quite a bit worse the wear, or you'd be welcome to the dress, wings, and shoes. (The tiara and wand aren't outgrowable, and still get frequent use - plus the plastic handle on the wand has been replaced by wood following an unfortunate accident.)

If you can wait till after Halloween.....costumes go on sale everywhere then. Also have you tried Disneyoutlet.com? It has become a place I can no longer visit :) :) :) I could easily spend more then I make there.

Thanks for all of the ideas and links! I have not tried the consignement shops, that is a great idea! I will try and head out to some this weekend. $20 for the whole outfit plus accessories is great! I have been watching a bunch of them in my ebay in dd size and they are all going for around $40. I will also have to stop by Target again. The last time I looked they had some Fairy costumes but no Tinkerbell. They are always changing stock though, so I take another look!

Thanks for the tip about the wings. m&j'smommy can you let me know if the glitter polish prevents further runs!

Thanks for all the good leads!

I like the Target costumes.

We bought 2 Tinkerbell dresses at WDW last year, and to be honest it was scratchy with long sleeves and my girls haven't worn them much at all. They did look lovely when they wore them to the parks, but I prefer the non park dresses.

Don't forget Ebay! i just my 2 year olds Tink outfit NWT for 22.00 and then got shoes for her too from ebay for like 6.00. You could get a little cheaper if it is used. Sometimes there are lots of variations of Tink costumes. Good Luck!

Just wanted to let OP (and everyone else) know, the nail polish that I put on the wings awesome-no further runs! I put it all around the areas where there were rips and then a bit down the sides. Since it was a glitter polish it is still nice and sparkly in the sunlight.

Glad to hear that the nail polish worked. I will be sure to pick some up! I have yet to make it to Target to check out thier costumes, hopefully this weekend. I have also added a couple of Tink costumes to my watched items on ebay. How is the sizing of the XXS costumes. It says they are meant for 2/3. But size 18 months are meant for 12-18 months. So what do you get for a child between 18 months and 2? I don't think the costume will look great if it is too big!

I know they do not have a tinkerbell costume, but has anyone ever bought other costumes from mydressuptrunk? How true to size are they? What did you think of the quality? Just wondering for future WDW trips.

I saw a Tinker Bell costume at my local Sam's store on Friday evening (8/31).:tinker:

I saw them at Sam's also. It was a deal. $19.00 for the dress, wings, wand and shoes.
They also had Cinderella, Snow White and Belle.

Any idea what sizes were available at Sam's? I was just at Target tonight and the only costume they had was in a 4-6x. DD does not even where a 2 yet, so it was way too big!

Sam's costumes were sized 4-6x (just this one size). I don't think this will help you. But I did see costumes at Joanne's that were priced decently. It was a fairy costume, not Tink. good luck :goodvibes

I just got a Belle dress with headband, wand and shoes today at Sam's club for only $19.86. It is a very nice dress and they also had Tinkerbell, Cinderella, and Snow White. It says for ages 3+, sizes 4-6X.
