We decided to head down for Star Wars weekend over Memorial Day (esp since one of us didn't get to go to WDW this week ). Aisling will miss two days of school but after we sat through her parent teacher and she got excellents in every category...I'm not worrying about it! As far as the DVC rental- Randy made me PROMISE that we would never stay at POP again. I planned to stay at POFQ. BUT, Randy REALLY wanted to stay on the Boardwalk. Cindee mentioned renting DVC points. So I looked into it. Unfortunately, there was no availability for a studio on the BW. BUT they did have studios at AKV (which is like heaven to Randy) so we are renting there. And the best part is that even with the deals being offered, a studio at AKL was ONLY a little over $100 more than staying at POFQ. Well worth it to try out DVC and get to stay in a room for like 1/3 of the price! I'm a little bummed that we aren't staying anywhere "new" but AKL/V is so gorgeous...how can you complain???

I am so with you on borrowing M for a playmate! Dallas just loves having her around too! Sea World is always so much fun, which I am sure you know, but I can see why you had to decline! Dallas asks to go every trip to Florida.

I love the new ticker, but wasn't too surprised. Where are you renting? I actually was going to look into it but then got caught up in sewing and never looked at it!

Actually, I have never been to Sea World Orlando....which given my love of marine life is INSANE! I've been to San Diego a bunch of times though. BUT, that may change on this trip! We are looking at going off property for a day and going to Sea World. Now, I need to come up with a marine life custom

You're reading it! You think I can possibly finish this AND get a PTR going by May?!?! Actually, there really won't be anything too interesting to discuss. Our plan for this trip is to really not have plans. SWW runs from Friday-Sunday. I doubt Aisling will want to go for all 3 days so we will just end up where we end up! Monday we may to Sea World and Tuesday we'll again end up where we end up! We are flying in late Thursday night so nothing will be accomplished that night.

So after a brief swim and costume change, we were back off to....

mmmmmm Strawberry Soup

In order to maximize our rest/swim time back at POP- we had decided to take a cab to 1900 PF instead of dealing with Disney dining. There was another woman waiting for a cab to GF so we offered to give her a lift. She was a mommy who was down at WDW for a conference and decided to enjoy her time alone in the parks. She was going over to GF to try her hand at getting into one of the fancy dancy restaurants since she was alone. She was a very nice woman and we chatted away for the drive.

When we reached GF, we insisted on paying the whole cab fare. She was totally shocked. Really lady, has nobody ever done anything nice for you before??? Besides, if you eat at GF...you could use the extra cash

Well, while we were saying our goodbyes, the cab started to loop back out of the resort. That's when I realized that we had put Aisling's stroller in the trunk! We hadn't brought it with us yet to the parks this trip so we totally forgot about it. We tried to wave down the cab but of course he couldnt' see us. So Randy ran. And he scaled some bushes. And he got the stroller. It was ABSOLUTELY crazy how fast he was!!! All weight loss exercising really paid off

We got into GF and made our way to the check in desk. He had our pics taken without any intention of buying them (although they came out really good and I was tempted but I really don't need to spend $30 on multiple copies of the same pic).

When we got to our seats, none of the characters were near us so Randy and Aisling went off to get their food. Aisling got her usual mix of carbs

First character up was Prince Charming. And I have to say he was by FAR the best prince we have ever met. He was SOOOO into it. He knelt by Aisling and asked if he may take her hand and kiss it. Of course, she said yes.

Then he asked permission to twirl her to see her "ball gown"

Aisling was utterly thrilled by him

We must have been between meal times because next up with the Bibbidi Bobbidi dance thing. Randy and Aisling did some dancing

Can you guess who came next by this face??????

Yup, it was Lady T. Different Lady T than we had last year but just as good

She was THRILLED that I was wearing a Tshirt with her on it and kept yelling at Cinderella "see not everyone wears YOU on their dress!" It was great. She came back later in the meal and asked to take a picture with me. She tried to get me to do her face and I kept cracking up. Randy attempted to take a pic with my camera but as we know, that just doesn't go so well!

Next up was Cindy herself. Not the best Cindy we've ever had but an okay one.

At this point, we were completely done eating and the step sisters still hadn't arrived at our table. Obviously, we had to wait for them. While we were waiting, they brought Aisling a cupcake for her birthday.

Finally the stepsisters showed up...they were great as always. (notice Aisling covering up Cindy on her dress)

We quickly gathered our stuff after Drizella left because we really had to get moving!!! We had more evening plans and they didn't include the GF. Plus we had another costume change So Aisling and I headed into the bathroom to change her- where she informed the entire bathroom that this was the last time she was wearing Cindy to 1900 PF because the Tremaines get mad!

I came out of the bathroom and switched my lens out. Randy had to hold all the stuff while I did it. I turned around and this is all I saw. He looked so weary/overburdened I had to take his pic

With everything ready to roll, we headed off to MK to finish up our birthday plans. Any guesses what we might do????

Poor Randy! His face is so pitiful in that picture. That is what I missed on my trip with just DD - having a pack mule for all of our stuff (aka DH).

I can't wait to see what is in store for you at the MK and the new custom!

Thank you! My consolation prize for last week I knew I would get Randy with talk of Star Wars characters! I should have known that the BW would be all booked on a holiday and SWW but I took a chance. I know AKV will be fab because we love it there!

I should also mention that my partner-in-Disney-crime Stacy and her boys are coming AND of course M will be around to play with Aisling too. I'm really excited!!!
