we were looking for a good, local resturant to have our reception dinner. We are have a small intimate wedding @ CBR (20 people). Timpano's Chophouse in Orlando is a resturant that we are considering. We live in New England and have never been there.....looking for some feedback from anyone that might have had dined there in their travels.

I haven't been to that one but I have been to Vito's Chophouse on I-drive and it was quite possibly the best steak I've ever had!!!

If it is the same one as the one near me (outside of DC) it is fabulous. The food is very good. Mostly pasta, meats, salads. The service is very tentative. But what I love the most is the atmosphere. Very sophisticated...soft music, good lighting. They encourage long lingering with spaced out courses. The bar area always reminds me of something from the 40's or something.

Yup its the same place...
very good food...i know they were expanding the front of the restaurant...think its done...but i'd call and check
