Timing Question

I wanted to goto Newport Beach Center and see the ocean before we actually arrived at DL. I have a 6:00 ps at Catal and don't want to be late. How long does it take to drive from DL to Newport Beach? It doesn't look that far, but I'm not sure how the traffic will be. Plus depending on how long that drive is, it will determine the time I start the trip and leave from vegas to get there. Any suggestions are welcome!

Depends on what day of the week it is. On a Sat or Sun, probably 20-30 minutes. On a weekday, could take an hour or more.

An hour or more!!! wow that's crazy. Is there anywhere else sombody would recommend going to see the beach?

I think Newport Beach is the closest one to Disneyland. It's that darn LA traffic!
