timing of DDP

I have another newbie question.
We just made a reservation for 8 days and 7 nights. We check in on a Thursday and depart the following Thursday. We've paid for 7 days worth of the dining plan. So can we use it over the eight days or will we have one day where we'll have to pay out of pocket?

Staying for 7 nights, you'll get 7 "days" worth of credits. You may use them any time and in any order between check in and midnight of your check out day.

You can use your credits until midnight of the day you check out. When you check in, you're given your allotment of credits. For a 7 night stay, you'll get 7 table service, 7 counter service and 7 snack. You can use them anytime you please, you don't have to use 1 of each type each day. We did the dining plan last year and had plenty of food. I even had snack credits left my last day. I used them on candy odds & ends at my resort store.

You get credits based on how many nights you stay, not how many days. And you receive ALL those credits as soon as you check in and get your room keys. It's up to you to decide how many you will use on which day. You need to use them all before midnight of your checkout day; that is when they expire. If you run out of credits, you'll need to start paying for extra meals.
