I'm torn between scheduling breakfast at 8:30/9am or doing a late bfast or "brunch" at the latest possible time which I believe is 11:10am? Does it make sense to get to Epcot at rope drop go on some rides and then head over to the world showcase for "brunch" or get to the parks have breakfast first, and then use FP+ for all the popular rides etc.. We are planning on spending the entire day at the park including dinner and illuminations. What do you think? I know lunch is also an option, but I think the breakfast foods appeal to me and my kids more.

If I'm not able to get an in-park breakfast ADR for 8-8:10a I forego going earlier in favor of a later breakfast/brunch. The time right after RD is precious for riding headliners with no/minimal wait, so if I were in your shoes I would spend the early morning in FW with brunch in WS.

To get more rides on Soarin and/or TT, you'll certainly want to utilize your 9am hour for riding. If you get an 8am breakfast go for it, otherwise, do it later. Last thing you want is to be at breakfast between 9 and 10 which is your best hour for riding stuff.

I agree with the other posters, pre-rope drop is optimum time for getting reservations, but that is a lot of walking. If you finish off Future world in the morning, then head to akershus when rope drop happens in the world showcase, you'd be heading there anyway. That being said, I don't recommend lunch or dinner here. It's 50 bucks a person, and you get very little food.

We always do the latest possible breakfast time there. We get to Epcot before rope drop, get in, and do our favorite rides. By the time it is around 11, we are ready to rest for a while and eat a good meal. It works great for our family.

OK this is exactly what I wanted to hear! Can you just confirm that the princesses are still walking around at that time? I want to make sure we're not missing any photo ops with my 2 dds.

Akershus is a character meal all day long, so no chance of that happening no matter when you schedule the meal. But it's a much better value (read: cheaper) and you get more food, if you go for the breakfast. Which stops at 11:10 if the disney website is to be believed (I generally don't, that website is almost always out of date.) You can always call and confirm, but it'll be around that time.

I'm the same way as others... If I can't get a pre-rope drop ADR, I like to get a late 11ish reservation & make it brunch, and then head back for to our resort for some down time.
