Looks like the night I want to go to Cali Grill it may be a MNSSHP night, so not the normal wishes, rather hallow wishes.

What time should I make my ADR if I wish to watch wishes from our table??? Is MNSSHP wishes usually a 9:30 pm thing?? or 9 pm like normal wishes??
I am looking at Sat. Sept 29
Thanks for any help!

It really depends on how lucky you are and how long you're willing to wait. You can request a table with a view, but the staff will tell you that it might be not available until after the fireworks time. There are relatively few window tables and they're pretty popular, so getting one will depend on how many folks have already requested one and when the current folks finish their meal. So be prepared to wait a while (when we were there, they were warning folks the wait time for a window table was about one hour).

Alternatively, you can opt to sit at one of the low tables in waiting area. Those are available on a first-come/first-serve basis and you can order from the full menu. They aren't really the most comfortable tables to eat at, but there are a few with a good view. (You will still need an ADR for CA Grill, but you can opt for the waiting area table when you get up to the restaurant.)

I would make my ADR for around 7:45 or 8:00 and at check in request a table with a view of the fireworks as opposed to a window table. That's how I word it now and have had luck everytime getting a table with a great view of the fireworks and never had to wait more than 20 minutes or so past our ADR time. Most of the time our table is not right by the window but we've still had a great view of the fireworks from our seats.

I think it's much nicer to see them out on the deck with the music piped in then through the window. You get a lot of glare & you can't really hear the music.

You are looking at a Saturday night. MNSSHP are typically not on Saturday nights. It is usually on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights. I would plan for the usual 9:00 Wishes.

No, We are looking at Friday, Sept 28. (first post discrepancy, LOL)....and the park hours are stating MK closes at 7PM.... so I am assuming it will be Hallow wishes that evening

Well, in that case, yeah that's a good guess it will be a MNSSHP night. As others have said, don't count on getting a window seat for Wishes, especially a HalloWishes. Also as a PP said, we find that it's a lot nicer to grab a drink and watch them from the observation deck. With that being said, if you want to take a chance at getting a window seat, aim for an ADR between 7:30 and 8 (on the earlier side if you want to ask to wait to get a window table).

Personally, we would go for something like a 9:00 ADR (especially if you don't have young ones with you). You'll be escorted upstairs once you check-in, but chances are you'll wait for a table. Find out how long the wait is going to be. If it is anything longer than 10 minutes, tell the hostess you would rather wait to be seated after HalloWishes. Grab a drink at the bar and get a good spot out on the observation deck. Then, after HalloWishes is over, when the restaurant empties out (which it does pretty quickly), you'll be left with a much nicer, quieter and more relaxing meal.
