When does the full marathon end? Right now I have an 11am flight out of Orlando on that Sunday. Is getting out of WDW going to be a pain at that time?

I am not running. Sorry, should have been more clear. Do the shut down some of the roads, etc. I am staying at WL.

They do shut down some of the roads. When I ran last year, I remember there being traffic backups on several of the roads when we were running on the other side. The race starts at 6AM, and since your flight is at 11am, I'm guessing that you would typically leave between 8:30-9am. I would definitely allow for extra time that morning. If you are taking Magical Express, I would assume that they would schedule in extra time to allow for traffic delays. Better safe than sorry (although missing your flight home is much more tolerable than missing your flight to WDW!...there's pretty good shopping at MCO!). :rolleyes1

That is what I am afraid off. I am thinking of seeing if I can get a later flight. I would rather spend the time at Disney instead of in traffic or at the airport! :rotfl:

Race atarts at 6 am and the slowest runner has 7 hours to do it. However, after 2.5? miles, runners are no longer ont eh road. So, all roads should be open just after noon. That won't help you much, though.

Contemporary Hill is between miles 9 and 10 and Osceola Parkway is from 18 to 21.5. So the last runner should be into the MK by ~9:15 and in MGM by ~11:45.

If you go on the back roads from WL (by Fort Wilderness to POR/POFQ) you shouldn't have any problems getting out of Disney. Just avoid World Drive and Osceola Parkway and you will be fine.
