Hi there! My SIL told me she is a member of a timeshare that has units inside Disney property. She says they are onsite, but not DVC. And they have shuttles to go back and forth to the parks. Is this true? She hasn't been to DW before and I of course said that the only timeshares onsite was DVC, and am now wondering if I could be wrong (not me! lol). Thanks in advance for any replies! :wizard:

the only timeshare that is on Disney property is DVC.

that say Fairfield (not Wynham) sales people claimed their resort (bonnett creek) was on Disney property. It is NOT.

this resort like other offsite places has their own shuttle and the schedule is a little better - I think once each hour it goes. It does have one advantage it is FREE. most timeshares shuttle will cost you money to use.

It is not on disney property - so no WDW transportation, No EMH, No DME, etc.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I completely forgot no EMH, ect. Thanks for that! Have a good weekend!:wizard:

Yes, it's probably Wyndham/Fairfield. It's not on Disney-owned land, but is surrounded on three sides by Disney, and the fourth side is I-4. So, it is "landlocked"; you can only get to it from within Disney. It *looks* like it is on Disney property, but it isn't.

And, of course, it has none of the Disney perks. But, owning there resale costs about 1/3 what DVC does, so it's not such a bad deal. ;)
