Timeshare tours...Where to stay

I have a question. We are going to Orlando for the first time. I would like to do a Timeshare tour to get free Disney tickets, but we are already booked at Liki Tiki Village for the week.

If I tour a timeshare that gives free disney tickets for listening, do I need to stay at that hotel, or can I just go over there for the tour?

Does anyone know if Liki Tiki gives free tickets for tours?

I don't know about free Disney tickets, but this company handles timeshare tours (look at the menu on the left-hand side). You can get some great rates for hotels if you do the timeshare and then just buy your Disney tickets.

I'm not sure what kind of Disney tickets you expect. Last December when I was staying solo at The Swan I was passing the DVC booth at the Disney/MGM studios. I signed up for a tour of the BoardWalk Villas timeshare. The tour was wonderful and took about 70 minutes. For my time, I got a coupon voucher for one free lunch or dinner at a moderately priced place. I had chosen The Sunshine Season Food Court at Epcot for my free lunch because I had planned on going there anyway.

Oh........and they also gave me a package of cotton candy !

There are time share tours who give one day passes to Disney (one park only) as part of the deal. A co-worker did this. She also said never again. It wasn't worth it.

I got a deal with Marriott to stay at the Grande Vista and I am receiving Disney passes to listen to a presentation.

You may find that you will not be able to use those free passes once you have to se through the spills that are only suppose to be for 60 minutes and then turn into 2 or 3 hours.I would never go to Disney and do timeshare presentations unless i was going to be there like 2 or 3 weeks.
