Timeshare resorts and free shuttle service?

Is there such a thing? I thought for some reason the Sheraton vistana villages had free shuttle service to WDW, I was just on their website and it said there was a fee. Are there any resorts(timeshare) that offer thhis service, we'll have a rental car, but I really don't want to have to pay for parking. Also, I don't know if it makes a difference or not but we'll be using an owner's week. Thanks!

using an owner week might even cost you more....

the only ones I know of are the DVC resorts - OKW, BWV, BCV, VWL and SSR.

and the Fairfield Orlando Bonnet Creek

all the others either don't have anything or there is a charge

Pay for parking, depending on how long you're staying you might consider buying one AP, includes free parking.

Even BCR has a very limited shuttle schedule. It's inevitable that you'll wind up paying for taxis to supplement the free shuttles.

Have to second everyone else..

If you're going to have a car, drive it to the parks..the shuttles may wind up being very crowded, it may make several other resort stops, and like Lewisc said, you may end up taking cabs to supplement the shuttles (which can get pricey pretty fast)

And the schedules can, and do, change quite frequently.

Once you pay for parking at a WDWpark, you can go to all the other parks and not pay again, that day

Forgot to add...my parents stayed at the Sheraton Vistana just last month..they used the shuttle to go shopping, which was fine - it was "free", but the driver did say that a tip of $5 was not unwelcome..and the bus was quite crowded coming back to the resort.

we got told that shuttle from Sheraton Vistana to the parks was $7 per person.

so the shopping might be free but the parks were not....

thanks for your input!! What is parking now? Is it is still $9 or has it gone up?

It was $9 in March - I am going in a few weeks I will check again then.
